Found at Tarkhan
A linen dress was lifted from a grave at Tarkhan, south of Cairo. It is the oldest woven garment ever found. Five thousand years old, and it was linen. We took the name from that, and nothing else.

White and off-white are not the same cloth. Anyone who wears linen knows the difference.
The cloth
Flax is spun long. The fiber is stronger wet than dry, which is why linen outlasts the people who wear it. This cloth is mid-weight. It holds a collar, and it still moves.

- 190–210 gsm. Mid-weight — it holds a collar and still moves.

- Plain weave, garment-washed after making up.

- Single-needle stitching. French and flat-felled seams throughout.

The box, the tissue, the seal, the tag and the card ship with every order. None of it is an upgrade and none of it is sold separately. At this price the presentation is part of the garment.

- 2mm greyboard, matte oxblood wrap. One gold foil hit on the lid, 40% of its width. Nothing on any other face.
- Tissue
- 17gsm ecru, wordmark repeated tone-on-tone at a 10% oxblood tint. Two sheets to a garment.
- Seal
- 40mm round, oxblood, blind-embossed T. No text.
- Hang tag
- 55 × 90mm, 600gsm ecru board, oxblood face duplexed to the front. Natural linen cord through a punched hole — no ribbon, no eyelet.
- Card
- A6 landscape, 600gsm. English and Arabic carry equal weight, printed in oxblood ink.
- Transit
- Everything travels inside a plain over-box. The brand packaging never carries a waybill.
